Happy March!
Join me for a virtual event on Monday!
Hello everyone!
Happy Women’s History Month! My birthday is on March 8, which is international women’s day, and I absolutely love sharing my birthday with such an awesome holiday. One of my favorite parts of writing Most Eligible was creating the cast of characters that surround our protagonist, Georgia. The majority of them are women, and other contestants on the reality show she’s snuck her way onto. It was such a joy to write this amazing group of women and find ways for them to lift each other up rather than tear each other down (though there’s a little bit of that too!) If you’ve read Most Eligible and had a favorite contestant, let me know in the comments. I have a favorite… should I tell you who it is?
Without further ado… a very fun event announcement!
Most Eligible Virtual Book Club - this Monday!!
I'm SO EXCITED to make this announcement! 🌹 Next week (Monday, March 9, at 8pm ET / 5pm PT), I'll be going Live on Instagram with the lovely Julie LaPlaca for a virtual book club discussion of my debut rom-com Most Eligible!
It's the perfect time to chat reality TV books, since the new season of The Bachelorette will be starting the following Monday. Where can I get Isabelle and Julie’s books?
Order Most Eligible now! In honor of my upcoming birthday and women’s history month, Most Eligible is currently 25% off on Amazon and Barnes & Noble! (Just kidding, that’s not why it’s on sale, but let’s pretend it is!)
Pre-order Julie’s upcoming memoir, The Love Producer! I was lucky enough to read it early (seriously, pinch me!) and it is fabulous.
And I’m excited to share a few book recommendations!
Female empowerment book recommendations (contemporary romance/romance-adjacent edition:
A Hundred Other Girls by Iman Hariri-Kia - a funny, fun, empowered, and intelligent debut novel about a young woman finding her place in the media landscape in New York. If you’re excited for The Devil Wears Prada sequel, you’ll love this one.
The Free Verse Society by Delali Adjoa - I had the honor of being on a panel with Delali (a fellow 2026 debut author!) at Love Y’all Book Fest in February, and was in awe of the care and compassion with which she spoke about her characters. I am so excited to read this one when it comes out on March 24!
Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez - this book has been out for a while, but it is one of the first that comes to mind when I think of romance novels that made me feel empowered!
Some Kind of Famous by Ava Wilder - I loved this celebrity/normal person romance so much! Following along on Merritt’s journey of reclaiming her power and identity in the entertainment industry was such an empowering, juicy treat.
Until next time, and hope to see you (virtually) on Monday!
~ Isabelle

I have a feeling Olly is your fave, but I wish it was Gina 😂
Is it bad that by the end of the book I kinda wanted Addison to be my platonic bestie?
